Open for Training only commencing Monday 25 October 2021
There will be a staged approach to opening the Fearnley Dawes Athletic Track in order to meet the NSW Health Guidelines for the COVID-19 Pandemic
Stage 1:
Bookings are essential for coaches and athletes aged 12 years and older

- Coaches and athletes over the age of 16 years must be fully vaccinated. Athletes under 16 years must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated member of their household.
- All attendees must us the QR Code to check in at FDAT on every occasion, displaying the vaccination status.
- Proof of vaccination must be provided to DFAT prior to booked time; stipulating training group and time slot.
- Coaches are to have a maximum of 10 attendees in their group. Coaches are included in this 10.
- No back to back booked sessions will be permissible.
- Bookings are essential and can be made via email. Subject Matter to be 'Training Request'
- Content of the email to stipulate that Coaches have checked their prospective attendees are double vaccinated.
- Parents who are not required to accompany their child are NOT to congregate at the location, but are to remain in their vehicle or leave the location. If athletes are not vaccinated and require their parent or caregiver to accompany them to the session, the parent or caregiver are to be included in the total attendees.
- As per guidelines Children under 12 must have a fully vaccinated parent accompany them.
- No access to showers, only 1 accessibility unisex toilet will be available for use.
- Masks are required pre and post training
- NO debate, NO argument regarding the rules will be tolerated.

COVID safe requirements & social distancing guidelines
Due to restrictions still in place, the following is to be respected at all times:
- All persons over 12yrs attending the facility must wear a face mask on arrival, masks can be removed during your session however once the session is completed masks must be worn.
- Coaches must wear a mask (unless also doing strenuous exercise)
- No more than 700 people within the facility at one time.
- Please ensure your membership card is scanned, so there is a record of your attendance at the facility. Hand sanitizer will be available on entry.
- All in attendance to check-in with the Service NSW QR Code, whether you are training or at the track for another purpose.
- No congregating at the kiosk - spectators may utilize the grandstand or the fence line - 1.5m social distancing
- Practice hand hygiene (wash hands or use sanitizer) on entry and exit to venue, before and after training, as well as during training with equipment.
- Starting Blocks, High Jump, Long Jump and throwing equipment are now available - please see the attendant before use.
